PRESENTATION ON THE “NETWORKING MEETING OF AUTOMATIC DOORS”

APA, the “Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Automatic Doors”, and FIPA, the “International Exhibition of Automatic doors, organized” a “Networking meeting of Automatic Doors” which took place in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona (Spain) on the 16th and 30th of June, 2016.  MOTION4 was invited by the organizers to give a speech on the use of automatic sliding doors in the interior of buildings, the last step on the automation and interconnection of different elements present in most of the buildings (windows, curtains, shutters, shades, etc).  Till today, the use of actuators to automate interior sliding doors is minimum due to the big size and high cost of the door operators available. MOTION4 is changing this perception thanks to their products EvoDrive and e-motion, two models of automatic sliding door tracks, that combine the compact size of a manual door track, and the performance of a traditional automatic door.
